Science Centre is probably one of the most fascinating places in Singapore. I am full of awe everytime I visit that place. So I decided that I should also bring Le Xin to discover the wonders of Science at the Singapore Science Centre too.

Daddy Scott explaining to Le Xin how animation works with speed....
Facilitating...
We went through a dark place

This exhibit - an incubator showing how life chicks were born is probably one of the memorable exhibit in the Science Centre....Seriously....it has been around for a long long time and everyone who visits the Science Centre will usually gather around and look at the cute little chicks....

Ohh...did we miss out on the Water Play ?
Of course not!
Le Xin as always....was sooo intrigued to see how the water went up and down....
This is not something new to her but she still finds it thrilling each time she plays with it....
Balancing....
Scooping the water...
Nice!
Water dripping on you, Le Xin....
Going down....
Observing how other children were playing....
Kicking the water....
Even though I could smell the chlorine from afar, the smell of the water did not bother her a bit....
Splosh.....Splash
Climbing up....
Actually, when I was observing her, my heart was pumping very fast, I am so worried she might lose her balance and fall but I kept reminding myself that I had to let go and allowed her to explore on her own....It was not an easy decision....
Kicking King says k....k....k...
Alright that's end of our trip to the Science Centre.....
Mummy T2X enjoyed herself very much with Le Xin and Daddy Scott....
And I bet Le Xin too, we have gotten her a small gift before we left...
A spinning device....is that the right name for it? Daddy Scott called it Zu Qing Ting hahaha Xiao Ding Dang always use it right on Da Xiong?
Even though the trip to Science was kinda tiring for the three of us, cause there was a lot of walking and carrying of Le Xin involved but I truly enjoyed spending time together as a family. I love the experience very much and I believe Le Xin had a fun time exploring, investigating and discovering things on her own throughout the trip. I hope this post has motivated you to bring your child or students to the Science Centre.... I know some of you might be wondering, can a young child really understand what he/she is exploring? Well, children often construct knowledge on their own and sometimes it is actually the adults who are thinking too much about what or what not to do so please don't assume that the children do not know what they are doing as this only hinders their learning at the end of the day.
Go visit the Science Centre today and be inspired!
After we left the Science Centre, we went to Jurong for makan, Le Xin had a bowl of fried rice for dinner and I shall end this post with a cute photo of her eatin.... Seeya!
Yummy!
